WWII WW2 Korea Sheffield, England Machete with Schell Lea
scabbard US Army
I brought this home from my service in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
It is in good condition considering the age.
The sheath is marked ‘Schell Lea GDS Co INC 1944’ and the machete blade is marked ‘made in Sheffield England’.
The scabbard is 18¾” and the machete is 22½”.
The handle has been wrapped with tape.  There are small frays next to 3 of the
scabbard
rivets
.
