    Description

    Original WWII Western Mark 1 Seebee 1st Variation* Knife measuring 9.25" overall with a blade length of 5".  Blade shows some age patina, wear, use, with some silver peeking through.  Knife is solid with no looseness at all. Not sure if red wire wrap at end of handle is a decoration or to hold in place.  The pommel and leather around the wiring is tight, has no looseness.  If you look at the spine some tiny scattered areas of leather loss on top and bottom.  Has a tight guard and the Pommel is marked, "WESTERN BOULDER COLO. 1,967,479". This first variation knife has a blue, flat ground blade, a half steel guard, and red/black spacers with a steel pommel.  This comes with a plastic USN Mk1 Scabbard made by B.M. Co. Sheath is in fine condition with no cracks.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
