    Description

    WWII Western 46-6" Shark Fighting Knife.  Blade length has been modified to 5.70", originally it was 6".  This is the 8th variation Shark knife which originally came with a blued finish and not bright, red and black washers on ends of handle with a lanyard hole in the center of pommel.  Knife shows some wear, use age patina, some tiny dings on blade edge with a dark gray and silver finish patina on blade.  Also comes with the correct long steel guard, not brass.  Ricasso marked, WESTERN BOULDER CO. PAT. 1967479.  Guard wiggles some, tight pommel and handle.  The leather sheath is the correct one with flared neck and double stitch with 5 rivets.   A good WWII Knife.
