    Description

    WWII Western 46-6" Shark Fighting Knife. Knife has a 6" blade with a 10.25" overall.  Very good condition.  Blade shows some scratches, with much of it's original bright finish remaining.  The brass guard has a slight wiggle, tight leather handle with some press-marks on the center of the grips, both sides. Looks like the meat tenderizer hammer look, but smaller. Not on entire grip, just partial. Pommel and handle are tight.  Ricasso marked, "WESTERN BOULDER COLO. MADE IN U.S.A. L46-6".  This was the 15th variation L46-6 that was made and the only one that is marked "MADE IN THE USA". Comes with a leather sheath, looks original, but original had different rivet placement. 3 stitches have come undone on the bottom point area.
