11  inch blade
17.5 inches overall with sheath
This is the nicest example of this great WWII
Bolo I have seen on ebay.
This thing is a beast . Heavy thick and solid as a rock. 2lbs 14oz total weight.
This will chop anything in its path.Right in half.
The spine is smooth as they get..no hammer marks..and it is 1/4 in thick..
There is a piece of the wood handle that broke off..but you can still get a good grip on it.
And theres some light pitting on the opposite side of the USMC logo on the blade.
That being said..
The blade is solid as they get for this one.
The cutting edge is  pristine..no chipping..
And VERY sharp the whole length.
The leather sheath is solid as it gets.
A couple stains..but the pantina is great vintage.
The leather stitching is fantastic.
This bolo is a solid 7 out of ten..
If the handle didnt have the chip of wood missing it would be a 8 or 9
I was going to refurbish it and put a new handle on it..but decided to give a once over on ebay.
If it doesn't sell..ill probably do just that..
So here's your chance to get the best on ebay if your looking for this rare knife..
Take a look at the others..they dont even compare..
