WWII US Fighting Knife RH-36 PAL 36 USA

WWII US Fighting Knife RH-36 PAL USA. This knife retains much of its original finish save for some sharpening and a grind mark on one side. Grip is still nice and tight and has red spacers that have retained much of their color. Sheath is in fantastic shape for 80-year-old leather with no rips or tears and only minor staining and wear. Appears to have the name COMM? on the front. Have not been able to get a positive ID but may make for a research project for someone who is more adept at research.
