WWII Era US Army Air Force AAF Emergency Bailout Kit - Cattarugus USA Folding Machete w/Blade Guard - Very NICE Condition - RARE
Up for sale is a WWII Era Original US Army Air Force AAF Emergency Bailout Kit Machete.  This is the Folding version of the Cattarugus USA Machete.  The machete has the metal Blade Guard, which is commonly missing from most examples you encounter.  This style machete was most commonly used in the Seat Back Pack and other Survival Kits.  This machete has a folding blade, with metal blade guard and Plastic handle.  The blade is bright, some finish wear.  The finish has some discoloration.  Minor evidence of sharpening.  The plastic handle is in very nice condition, no cracks or chips.  Just a few nicks and normal handling wear.  The machete is used, please see photos for condition.
This would make a great accessory to add to your WWII collection.
