WWII Era US Army 18" Machete w/US Rubberized Scabbard - Marked: US Ontario & Scabbard Dated 1945 - NICE Condition
Up for sale is a WWII Era Original US Army 18" Machete with a US Rubberized Scabbard.  This machete has an 18" blade.  The machete is marked: Ontario Knife Co.  The blade has the correct "rough" finish.  No rust or pitting.  A few minor nicks on the blade.  The grip handles are in nice condition, no cracks or breaks.  One half of one of the handle rivets is missing, see photo.  Just a few minor nicks and handling marks.  The scabbard is a US Rubberized Machete Scabbard.  The scabbard is dated 1945.  The metal throat of the scabbard is damaged, the front portion is missing and there are cracks on each side.  The machete is used, please see photos for condition.
This would make a great accessory to add to your WWII collection.
