Description

WWII PAL Bayonet for the M1 Carbine. Bayonet measures 11-3/4" overall with a blade length of 6-5/8". Good to very good condition showing age patina, wear, use, some light feathering/sharpening. Good looking leather washer handle with the correct brown bakelite ends that make it WWII. Excellent working press-stud, bayonet is all tight with no looseness. Top of cross-guard marked, U.S./M 4PAL, underneath on the cross-guard shows the flaming bomb ordnance. Pommel end has the starburst with the "S" stamp and the "I" going partially through it. "2" also stamped on the opposite end. Comes with a post WWII Sheath marked, "USM8A1/ B.M. Co., great shape overall. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
