WWII M1 Garand Bayonet w/Scabbard - UC US

Description

M1 Garand Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso marked "U.C." (United Cutlery) over "U" with a flaming bomb "S". The crossguard has some illegible numbers on it. The grips are pretty good except for one chip. The blade is straight, unsharpened, no nicks, tight, recently oiled, and looks unissued. The lock button with press when the scabbard is not near it, otherwise it is non-functional, in other words the scabbard doesn't correctly lock in place. The plastic scabbard is solid, has light edge nicks, and the throat piece has "U.S. M7" on it. Length of the blade measures 9 13/16" (1 1/16" wide x 1/4" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 1/2", and in the scabbard it is 16". Muzzle opening is 11/16".
