    Description

    WWII Collins & Co. Legitimus Machete measuring 23.75" overall with a blade length of 18".  Very good condition, showing some light wear, age patina.   Black handle is very good, no cracks, Comes with a Collins marked leather sheath. Fits perfectly.  Ricasso area of blade marked, "LEGITIMUS COLLINS & CO MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 127". Scabbard marked, "COLLINS & CO LEGITIMUS 13".  Both have the Collins Logo in front of the writing.  The leather sheath shows some scattered surface loss and there is a hole at the point end.  See photos.
