WWII Era US Army M3 Trench Knife w/M8A1 Scabbard - Guard Marked - Modified - Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a WWII Era
US Army M3 Trench Knife w/M8A1 Scabbard.  This is a guard marked version of this knife.  The knife has been modified by removing the markings from the guard.  You can see where the markings were polished off of the guard.  The knife still has the Ordnance Flaming Bomb proof mark on the pommel.  The blade has no nicks or chips.  No rust.  Minor finish wear on the blade.  It has a stacked leather washer handle.  No cuts or breaks in the handle.  The guard and pommel are both tight.  The The scabbard is marked US M8A1 over P.W.H. on the front.  The scabbard is used, please see photos for condition.  No cracks or breaks in the plastic body.  No rust or pitting on the metal throat.  The snap works fine, no fraying on the canvas upper.
