WWII Era Original US Army Case 6" Fighting Knife w/Leather Scabbard - Very Nice Condition
Up for sale is a WWII Era Original US Army Case 6" Fighting Knife w/Original Leather Scabbard.  The knife has a Stacked Leather Washer handle with a Bright Metal Pommel and a 6" blade
.  The blade is 6" with an overall length of 10 3/8".  This item is used, see photo's for condition.  No nicks or chips in the blade.  No rust or pitting on the blade.  The blade has no evidence of excessive sharpening, some minor scratches.  Finish on the blade is nice, some wear from age and usage.  The knife is marked: CASE on the blade.  The leather handle is in Nice Condition.  The leather has darkened with age.  No cracks or breaks in the leather.  The guard and pommel are both tight. The Leather Scabbard is orignal WWII vintage.  The leather is soft and supple.  Wear at the top rivets.  The right side rivet has pulled through the leather.  No rips or tears in the leather.  Some cracking on the retention strap.  This is an Uncommon Case made knife.  They are somewhat difficult to find.
This is a Nice Example of a WWII US Army Fighting Knife.
