WWII Era Ca 1920s-1945 Model 1902 US Army Officers Saber Sword SCABBARD ONLY

Here's a scabbard for a Model 1902 US Army officer's saber. The throat piece is the "stepped" design which was very common from the 1920s through World War II.
These don't show up as separate items but very rarely. I've had this one lying around for years and doubt I'll ever need it.
It is nickel-plated. As mentioned, it has the "stepped" type throat piece which is secured with 2 small screws.  It's in good shape with no flaking plating, large dark spots, or anything like that.  There is normal wear as shown in the photos.There is a small "door ding" on both sides, which is fairly normal for old 1902 scabbards.  It will take a blade up to 30 inches long measured in a straight line,  about  1" wide at the hilt.

I am an old man now, and a 100% disabled veteran (US Army)  in very poor health. Realistically I only have about 5-10 years left to live, so it's easier for me to sell things now and put the money into annuities than for my children to fight over my stuff when I'm gone!

I'm only charging the buyer .00, and I'm covering the rest.  I do my best to get things packed-up and ready to go on the day after they're sold, but allow myself a few days in case medical issues get in the way, or if I unexpectedly find myself playing "herd-master" to my 3 youngest, over-exuberant grandchildren (ages 4, 6 and 8) for a few days.
