    Description

    This is an original WWII EGW Waterman Style Variation #5 Large Fighting Knife 7.25" & Leather Sheath.
    Original WWII Pattern Variation #5* Knife patterned after the EGW Knife. Knife measures approx 12" with a blade length of approx  7.25". This is an antique used item by veteran, with signs of use, some rust, slight knick in the tip and tiny knicks to grind out. Many variations of the EGW Waterman were made by private companies and issued to soldiers due to high demand at the time; this is the reason for no markings on the ricasso area of the blade, but identical style and construction. Has original sheath, which shows signs of wear.
