    Description

During WWII many makers made knives to meet the demand.  Many copied the patterns of EGW, CASE and PAL. Looking nearly identical to the originals, these were not made as well, but they did the job during WWII.  This one is a larger EGW Style measuring 11.5" overall with a blade length of 7".  Steel pommel and guard extending out the same length.  All leather handle, very good shape, Unmarked blade shows some age patina, wear, some moderate sharpening. See photos.   This is a 5th Variation of these Pattern Knives (See Book II Bill Walters US Military Knives WWII, pg. 118.)
