    Dodge WC52 Weapons Carrier
    This truck, known as  the  “Short Snorter”,
    is a 1943 Dodge WC52 Weapons Carrier, served her country in the European Theater during WWII.  At the end of the war she was acquired by the Norwegian Army where she spent the next 50 years under the lend-lease program.  During her time there, she was equipped with a heater, radiator curtain, winter cab and Norwegian tires.
    In 1995 lend-lease expired and “Snortie” crossed the Atlantic once again, this time with Manny Rogers of Cambridge.  Her new parents met her there and brought her home to Pennsylvania.  There she was lovingly restored by Dave Newman of Eastern Surplus, (see below for details).
    Additionally, her parents outfitted her with new canvas, seat covers, .50 cal  pedestal mount and mock .50 cal machine gun with clips and a drivers’ gun mount.  Brass plates engraved with her vital statistics appear on the dashboard.

    Keeping history alive for the next generation, is essential to freedom; here in America and around the world.  It has been a joy to participate with such a fine symbol of what America did for the world.  Several recent trips to Europe with the granddaughters have taught them the price of freedom.  Let’s all do our part!

    Purchaser must request return authorization within 30 days of the date of receipt of item(s).  Returns must be received by seller within 5 business days of providing return approval.  At the sellerâ??s discretion one of the following will be issued: 1) Refund of the purchase price (not including shipping and handling) less a 30% restocking fee OR 2) Store Credit (not including shipping and handling) less a 30% restocking fee at our discretion.  Returns approved for store credit are not eligible for monetary refund.  Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of customer.  No returns on electric/electronic components without express written approval from Eastern Surplus.
