WW2 Wilkinson Nickle Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife
By far the most iconic fighting knife ever made the F-S knife served WW2 Allied elite troops / resistance and agents and is still in use today by Royal Marine Commandos.
This  dagger is a 2nd pattern type 1 Wilkinson made, all nickel plated and by far the most desirable of these pattern.
The overall condition is excellent and the knife displays no play or wobbling.
The scabbard is missing the retention loop that held the handle in place when sheathed.
The scabbard that comes with this dagger is likely a ww2
replacement
, as they
would
have been lost/
damaged
etc
The blade is in fantastic condition and the etchings are clearly visible and in excellent condition.
A very rare type as Wilkinson only a small production were made from the 40000  pattern two would have been
nickel
plated copies.
