WW2 USN MK1 Fighting Knife
Made by Camillus
Extremely clean, perfect tip, unissued condition
Factory markings white chalked only, for clarity
Blade & Sheath are a matched original set, both clearly marked USN MK1
Parkerized blade, Never sharpened or modified
Features pristine early Brass Nut Bakelite pommel
Correct leather stacked handle, tight with no wiggle
Correct Beckwith sheath (B.M. Co) with nicely working snap
Cross guard & sheath rivets show partially cleaned rust in typical areas
Normal minor blade side wear from sheaths inner anti-rattle rib
Anti rattle rib properly prevents any shaken sound on this example
Only Camillus blades feature the "Sabre" rounded cutting edge
All other makers blades were straight, tapered only at the tip
MK1's catch the eye, fit the hand perfectly, look good & feel good
These should've been standard issue Boy Scout knives
