WW2 USMC Marine Raiders Fighting Stiletto/ Dagger
A very scarce USMC Marine Raider stiletto with scabbard.
Formerly part of an Australian
private
collection.
This USMC stiletto made by Camillus was issued to the elite Marine Raiders in WW2.
The blade profile shares a lot of similarities to the FS dagger, however the handle is cast directly onto the tang out of an allow which continued to age and harden, That mean many knifes have broken or damaged handles. This knife handle is intact and in excellent shape.
The dagger is accompanied by an M 6 scabbard.
