WW2 US NAVY THEATER KNIFE -MARKED - SHELL HANDLE 1932 PANAMA COIN ON POMMEL.

This unique WW2 theater knife was purchased without a sheath some time ago. I recently found a WW2 leather sheath reproduction at a military show in WEST PALM BEACH. IT FITS PERFECTLY.

The knife blade is 7” long with an overall length of 11”.
The dagger blade appears to be a cut down file...larger knife or sword.
The brass guard is thick and MARKED:

....and.....JB
THE POMMEL has a 1932 Panama coin ATTACHED.

CONDITION:
The knife is 77+ years old. It has been used...carried...and well sharpened.
It is very well made and solid with no moving parts.

The sheath was purchased new. It may have some storage rubs.
It fits the knife well and it is the perfect size. I was lucky to find this sheath.
