Description

Very nice WW2 U.S. home made/bench made fighting knife with it's original tooled leather sheath. 7 13/16 inch blade shows staining and original sharpened edge with two very small nicks to edge. No rust or pitting. Steel guard in same condition as blade and has movement. Nice wood grips are tight, held by three copper rivets and has soldier's service number stamped in. Dark brown tooled leather sheath was clearly made for this knife and also has soldier's service number stamped in on front and back. Soldier was Paul L. Speight of Dodge Herrold, Iowa and enlisted/drafted  26 Oct. 1943 as a private. A nice example of a used WW2 home made fighting knife. I've owned this for 9 years. *** U.S. SHIPPING ONLY ***. PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL INVOICED BY ME. PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF INVOICE. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING AS ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THANK YOU.
