    Description

    WW2 Theater Combat Fighting Knife with sheath.
    Solid and heavy knife. No looseness or wiggle. The blade measures about 7 3/4 inches long and is thick. It has a blood groove on one side. There’s a maker’s mark and number on the blade. I don’t recognize it but I feel it’s British (that’s just a guess). There’s no guard. The handle is metal and also has a number on it. I believe this was a sword or cutlass and converted into a fighting knife. The sheath to me looks like it was cut down as well. It has discoloring, scratches, blemishes, dings,wear, etc consistent with a vintage knife.
