    Description

I've probably had well over 100 WW2-era handmade knives over the years but this one is one of the best. The quality of the materials, fit and finish are a cut above most theater knives you find.  Knife measures 11" overall with the blade being 7".  Blade is 1.25" wide with deep median fuller/blood groove and is razor sharp on both edges.  Spear point.  Looks like blade was laid flat and whetted on the edges.  Brass oval guard and mushroom pommel secured with recessed round brass nut.  Handle is plexiglass/lexan discs in the center with brass and black spacers. Looks like the tang inside was painted red. The sheath looks like it was made by a professional leatherworker and was obviously made for this knife. Has a Carborundrum stone in the front pouch.  Maker's name, K.A. ALLEN is embossed in goldleaf on the front.  A great knife and sheath.  GUARANTEED TO PLEASE THE NEW OWNER OR I'LL BUY IT BACK.  Check my Feedback.
