  • Condition: This is extremely hard to find early CAMILLUS “treaded nut” pommel USN-designated MK2. The “treaded nut” pommels were prone to fail under stress and this design was quickly discontinued. he edge, including the “false” upper edge, has been re-sharpened, the blade is RAZOR-sharp still. Ricasso is stamped CAMILLUS, N.Y. on one side, U.S.N. on the other; the guard is unmarked, as it should be for this type. Leather washers handle with heavy round pommel and slightly curved guard; all parts are tight. Early issue all-leather USN scabbard is in great shape; original keeper with brass snaps is intact; all original rivets and stitching are intact; the leather is soft and supple still.
