    Description

Early hand made fighting or hunting knife made I am sure in the WW 2 era.  It has a brass guard, brown patterned micarta shaped grip
OAL is 11 3/4". blade is 7 7/16" long and 1 1/8 wide. Clip point blade patinated no pitting or rust noted
Brown leather sheath is decorated and snap is functional  There is a slight tear at the throat shown in the photos  There is some verdigris at the rivets and the sheath is patinated as well
Brass rivits holding the micarta handle to the blade  and guard well patinated.
Found and probably made in Peru Illinois,  signed WC Seibert.   I am assuming this is the maker
