Original and most superb early WWII U.S. Blade Marked M3 Trench Fighting Knife manufactured by Imperial and is so marked on the blade. Blade is also marked

M3. I'm sure if you are a collector you already know these blade type markings were only used on the first production circa 1943 M3 Fighting Knives. The manufacturer and nomenclature markings were moved to the crossguard circa 1944. Blade remains in superb condition, is not nicked nor pitted, has most all of its original parkerized finish remaining intact, and is not defective in any way. Leather stacked washer handle remains in superb condition as well. Handle is all intact, not oilsoaked, chipped nor fractured, and remains tight to the blade. Pommel remains in excellent condition as well, is correctly star staked by the factory, and is proofed with a bursting bomb. This knife would be very hard to upgrade in condition. Absolutely 100% lifetime guaranteed to be an original and to be what I say it is. NO SCABBARD.
