    You are bidding on a vintageĀ WWII military issue axe marked US. Nice condition, original handle shortened. It is 9 inches long from which the head is 4.75 inches long and the blade is 2.75 inches wide. Nice hard to find WWII axe in nice shape. Somebody made a custom sheath for it. Likely the handle was shortened, this looks like a trench axe, side weapon. See all the pictures bellow.
