Vintage WWII Bayonet - Military knife

from older radio estate , I know nothing about knives...  please see pictures.  I am guessing WWII era ?    again, I wish I knew more, but do not.
i see no numbers or markings... some one told me maybe British, but I had no clue...
being sold as-is, as found, final sale.
