Up for auction is a vintage WW2 Cattaraugus 225Q fixed blade fighting knife. This knife model was believed to have been made for use by US Army quartermaster supply personnel but ended up being issued to many US servicemembers. This knife is in FAIR to POOR condition. It could be left as is or could be a restoration project. Blade looks full but shows overall rusting. Leather washer handle shows wear and one spacer at cross guard is cracked but handle has no movement. There is some movement in the stacked metal pommel and slight movement in guard. But knife is intact and comes with its original leather sheath which shows wear. Sheath has NO holes but does have scuff marks front and back. Keeper strap is solid. Auction also includes an author SIGNED copy of the Robert Buerlein book KNIVES OF WAR which is in EXCELLENT condition. Please check my other knife listings. Please pay promptly. Thanks.
