Here's a vintage USMC Kabar Fighting Knife , most likely WWII
It's marked on the guard USMC Camillus NY see photo.
It has a darkened blade .The blade is very sharp and has no nicks.
the very tip of the point has an ever-so-slight curl, mentioned for accuracy.
It has it's original sheath that has a USMC insignia and the owners name on it.
The fastening snap is missing.
