Vintage Palomar 16x50: Excellent w/Case

A real minty set made in the 1950s. Views are great, but if you suffer from bad astigmatism like I do, you'll need corrective contact lenses. Not suitable for use with glasses. Comes with conditioned leather strap and metal keepers and a case in good conditon considering it's age. Still useable.
IF EPs are smooth focusing. Bin looks hardly used! This set uses a smallish 7x35 chassis mated to 50mm objective bells making it unusually slim and very light.
HOWEVER, because of the smaller frame and prisms used, views were not as bright as, say, from my other 16x offered here but built on a larger platform. I therefore just completed a Cleaning and Enhancement of this excellent bin. To include wiping all air to glass surfaces, dismantling the two EPs and blackening the edges of every lens there in (2-1-2). Blackening the frosted sides of all four small, odd shaped prisms, and regreasing the oculars. Views are now better than when factory new. I would still not recommend this set for those with severe astigmatism.
