VINTAGE 9" DIAMETER SERVING / SANDWICH / DINNER STYLE PLATE,
MODEL / PATTERN NUMBER 344,
FROM THE 1939 ISSUED AND NOW DISCONTINUED
"ENGLISH GADROON" PATTERN NAME OF
STERLING SILVER FLATWARE AND DINNERWARE
BY GORHAM SILVER, USA
NO MONOGRAMS, TOTAL WEIGHT OF 208.0 GRAMS,
IT IS SOLID STERLING SILVER, NOT HOLLOW OR WEIGHTED
Shows light wear from use and storage, including minor marks, scratches, and it retains a light patina over the Sterling surface due to aging.  It has just been lightly hand cleaned, has nice shine as it is, is straight, not bent, has no monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all.
It is hallmarked on the back GORHAM STERLING 344 and the 3 character lion, anchor and G hallmark for Gorham Silver.
