US Life Raft or Fuel Bladder Knife w/correct Leather Scabbard
US Navy Life Raft or Fuel Bladder Knife w/correct Leather Scabbard. This appears to be a US Navy emergency knife for survival on water. 4" parkerized blade marked 'US' on one side. A capital 'D-A' on other side. Blade has original configuration and point (plz note-blade was wiped off after we took the photos). Small original leather scabbard secured by six rivets and edge stitching. All stitches intact. Heavy wood grips are secured by 3 copper rivets (British style). No dents or gouges in the wood. Overall length 9.5". Found pg 191 Cole's book IV. Excellent unissued condition. This is not a common USN survival knife. Study photos carefully---they tell best. .00 postage.
