This is a vintage 1972 George Washington Mint
sterling silver collector's plate featuring Uncle Sam - Arsenal of Democracy by N. C. Wyeth. The front features the iconic figure in high relief.
The piece is 8 inches in diameter and weighs 297 grams. It comes in a clamshell package and is wrapped in cellophane that has been opened on one corner to remove the plate. It also comes with 'certification and provenance' with a serial number of 3467 that matches the number on the plate. The piece is in estate condition with small surface scratches and / or blemishes consistent with vintage sterling silver hollowware and there are no monograms. The box and paperwork are also in good condition.
