    U.S. W.W.II  M-1 GARAND BAYONET W / 158TH INF. REGT. INSIGNIA - "BUSHMASTERS"
    The cut down bayonet is in very good + condition with a couple of dark age spots and some minor nicks at the bottom of the blade. The handle is in fine condition. The spring functions very well. The scabbard is in very good + condition showing normal combat use. The scabbard has the insignia of the 158th Infantry Regiment "Bushmasters". The unit entered combat on May 22nd, 1944, in New
    Guinea and had approximately one year of consecutive combat from New Guinea to the Philippines. A highly decorated unit.
