    GORGEOUS U. S. M. C. World War II Machete Bolo Knife!
    I am SLOWLY working my way through my Pa’s collection.  I am FAR from an expert on this stuff – PLEASE understand this!  I will describe things as best as I can.  If I make an obvious error regarding something, feel free to laugh at me, but also help me “fix” my description!
    The blade measures ~11¼” long, is ¼” thick at the spine, and has a ~5 ¼” long handle.  The blade is marked “U. S. M. C.“.  I see NO OTHER MARKS on the blade or handle.
    IN MY OPINION, the blade has NOT been used and has its ORIGINAL edge.  There are NO nicks or rust.  It does NOT look like it has been re-sharpened and is still VERY sharp.
    The wooden handle is TIGHT and UNCRACKED!
    I do NOT have the scabbard.
    I’m not even going to guess at the overall condition – that’s up to you Guys (and Ladies!) to decide!
