Description

RARE, RESTORED WWII ROBESON USMC FIGHTING KNIFE.  This fighting knife was made by the Robeson Cutlery Company for the Marine Corps during WWII, and was damaged by a snapped off pommel, rust and handle rot as many of them were.  As shown by the photos, I have restored it as best I could to its original condition by replacing the lost leather and plastic spacers in the handle, rewelding the pommel, and cold-bluing the metal parts.  As shown by the photos, the blade is properly stamped with the "U.S.M.C." and ROBESON SHUREDGE" stampings and has its original contour.  Overall the restored knife is in excellent condition.  This is your chance to own a rare WWII Robeson USMC fighting knife for a fraction of what an unrestored one in this condition would cost.  Sorry, there is no sheath with this one.  If you have any questions, please ask before buying or bidding.  Thanks.
