Rare Fairchild 240 Tube Preamplifier Equalizer for parts/repair w/ faceplate

Up for sale here is this vintage Fairchild 240 tube preamplifier equalizer, serial number 236.  This is not complete--it is missing most of the knobs, one foot, and the tubes.  The front faceplate and the back plate are included.  This appears to be original internally but I don't know for sure.  The cord was frayed and cracking so it was cut off.  This will obviously need some work.  On the plus side, the top/bottom covers and one knob are included.  This is in fairly good physical condition with moderate overall wear, and the back plate has some scrapes around the sides.
This is sold as NON-WORKING, for rebuilding, and is NOT plug-and-play.  Please see my pictures for details.
