    Description

    SUPER RARE 100% Original  WWII Camillus Carlson's Marine Raider knife with original scabbard in good condition, The blade measures  6 11/16" these were finished by hand and the adverage was between 6 7/8" to 7" which means a small part of the blade broke off from combat or throwing it into a tree which happens to 50% of them because they were used in combat or throwing contest. The Marine worked it back to the original tip. Trying to find a perfect Marine Raider knife is hard to find, if you do most likely it spent most of the life in a foot locker, duffel bag or sent home and you will pay a high price for those.
    The blade is just they way I purchased it I didn't do anything to it. A
    ll the markings are long gone from putting it in and out of the scabbard other then that the blade is in excellent shape. The handle and guard has no cracks or chips and fits tight to the blade.
    These were always considered a fragile combat knife that's why they went to the Kabar. CAMILLUS only made 14,370 and most are history and hard to find. These were also used in the original movie G

    During WWII the 1st Canadian Para's were recruited into the 2nd Canadian Parachute Battalion, some were issued sterile Raider knives from Camillus, because there is no sign of the scroll and manufacture name
    there is a possibly this might be one of those. The scabbard is brown like the ones issued to 2nd Canadian para Battalion, I don't have any
    documentation
    on that!
    The M-6 type unmarked scabbard is 100% correct and original to the knife and in great condition with working snap and extremely hard to find with the original knife!!
