    Description

Well Lads I am going to list some US and British Fighting knives - Yippee for you! :) They are from an old time collection, horde, accumulation and of course caboodle! This old time collector was advanced and knowledgeable on these knives me not so much! So here we go!!
Here is a British Wheatly Brothers Fighting knife - on the blade is it is well marked it has Wheatley Brothers Sheffield England on the center part, crossguard and handle are fine condition- the knife is in overall very good condition - the blade is good with no gouches or chips- no heavy pitting but age there- no sharpening or scratch marks to the blade. The scabbard is also fine with no marks or scratches or gouges. The scabbard is really nice and I have to say unusual it could be Kangaroo, Emu or Ostrich? I perhaps should go to the Bronx Zoo and visit these animals too. The scabbard has a dimpling or workmanship to it. It is a heavier sort of scabbard made particularly for this knife. Not as flimsy as a real F-S Scabbard!  It is missing the elastic retention strap at top of scabbard though it may never had one. Blade and crossguard and handle are very nice condition. This is a real wartime British fighting knife the old timer felt was seldom seen!! An unusual and interesting addition to your knife collection. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking
