Pair of NOS ASBESTOS-FREE KT88 or Larger Cloth Mesh Tube Retainers

Description

Two NOS, unused Large cloth mesh tube retainers for KT88's or larger on Marshall or other tube amps.  Second photo shows basket resting (untensioned) on top of a Sovtek KT88.  Outer diameter is about 2 3/8".  Note these are about 1/4" larger diameter than the KT66/88 retainers sold in a separate auction.  Both will fit a KT88, it is just a question of how much overlap you prefer.
Other sizes available (6SN7GT/6V6/GZ34).
NOTE ON ASBESTOS
I have had several inquiries about whether these mesh tube retainers have asbestos in them.  This seemed like an odd request so I did some online research.  Apparently, there have been several people on various forums that have insisted that these "china hats" have asbestos, but none indicated that they had any
knowledge of actual tests.  This kind of bothered me so I purchased an Asbestos test kit (Scheider labs) and sent a sample that was a mixture of the fibers from all the tube retainer sizes I have on ebay.  The test came back as "None Detected".  Bottom-line, it is hard to say if this style of retainer
was ever made with
asbestos in it, but the ones I have appear to be asbestos-free.  Not everything on the internet is true.
