Original WWII US Navy MK 1 Fighting Knife Robeson Shuredge w/ Scabbard. This knife is in pristine condition, all that was done was wipe the scabbard and knife grip with some leather cleaner.
The red spacer leather grip is in fantastic shape showing little age and wear, with no integrity issues, see pics for the unbelievable condition. The guard and pommel are fantastic. The blade is marked U.S.N. on one side and Robeson Shuredge on the reverse side. Blade shows honest light use, age and storage wear, see pictures for condition to judge yourself. A USN leather sheath is paired with the knife. It bears the very desireable “Boyt 43” impression. The snap function is completely intact, with only light corrosion evident. There are no integrity issues with the sheath. You will receive the exact knife pictured. Ask any questions or request any additional photos.
This knife belonged to my father-in-law who was a Marine during the Korean War, however he never was stationed in Korea, hence the excellent condition.
