EGW Knife Combat/Trench/Fighting unmarked w/Scabbard
EGW Knife Combat/Trench/Fighting unmarked w/Scabbard. This is an unmarked knife and similar to one shown on pg 193 in Coles book III. Has a 7.5" blade with overall length of 12.5" which makes it a tiny bit over the size of a WWII Mark 2 KaBar knife. Blade is dull steel that has original configuration and point but was sharpened and shows lots of use with scratches scuffs etc.also some light pitting visible. All metal parts on this knife are dull with use. Blade is not marked as a number of EGW knives were not. The stacked leather grip is complete and fairly tight but has slight wiggle near butt. Hanger ring on butt original to knife. No scabbard available but any kabar scabbard would fit nicely. This knife was carried and used in combat and about 75 years old.
