This listing is for a clearance OA Reliever knee brace, made by DR Medical Supply.
The OA Reliever is a medical brace that is commonly prescribed by orthopedic doctors to help treat knee pain associated with osteoarthritis.  It comes in one universal, adjustable size for either the left or right knee.  Ideal for patients with OA in the medial compartment.
We have a surplus of stock and need to free up some space so these are listed at clearance price.  It is designed for patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis, specifically in the medial compartment.  This brace only has one hinge is held on by four adjustable straps.  It is worn with the hinge on the lateral side of the knee (pointed away from body).  The hinge allows for varus and valgus adjustment to better fit the shape of the leg it's on.  When adjusted to the correct angle, the hinge moves the knee joint such that the pressure it bears is shifted to lateral side, effectively unloading the medial compartment.  It is universal in size, extremely lightweight, and the straps make the brace very quick and easy to use.
