    Description

    The Cambodia 20,000 Riels was issued in 2008 by the National Bank of Cambodia with a pick number P-60a. Marking the 55th birthday of King Norodom Sihamoni, the banknote bears the kings portrait on its obverse. A mythical snake called Naga is also shown on the front side of the note. The reverse of this violet and purple colored paper bill depicts an aerial view of the Angkor Thom which means The Great City situated in modern Cambodia. It also displays a face sculpture at the temple of Bayon of Angkor Thom. The Cambodia 20,000 Riels is 150 x 70 mm in size and bears a holographic stripe. It also has a security thread with a demetalized *NBC* and a watermark that shows the Bayon sculpture. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
