Bronze Minesweeper Double Link Chain 20 Feet Long with links that are 3.5" X 2.25 " X .625".
All fittings on board a Mine-Sweeper must be non-ferrous or non-magnetic and therefore made of brass, bronze or aluminum.  This is to avoid triggering magnetically activated mines.  External fittings need to be strong, as well as, non-magnetic and are always bronze, even the chain and anchors. This particular chain has links that are 3.5" long x 2.25" wide and about .625 ". This chain has a nice patina and is in excellent condition.  This is a 20 foot section and is one type of chain used on board a Mine-Sweeper.
