Antique Art Deco earrings / ear pendants. 14ct gold, diamonds, chrysoprase. Made in England circa 1930's.
Measurements: Weight is 6.20 grams. 11.44ct chrysoprase; 0.13ct diamonds. Length is 1 3/8 inches (3.5cm) not including the wires.
Description : Round surmounts with domed green chrysoprase, colette-set lead to a knife-edge line of gold, centered by a tiny colette containing a diamond and then continueing to a calyx-shaped cap of the elongated pear-shaped drop. The calyx-mount is set with small diamonds and has fine filigree edges. The chrysoprase drop is of a lovely emerald green, slightly more transparent or opaque, depending on the way the light falls on it. Chrysoprase with a luxurious, buttery-smoothe feeling. The tiny diamonds add a subtle glint and gleam, adding further interest. Each section is articulated, so that it can move independently. Extremely fine workmanship hides the mechanism that allows movement of each part. The swing and sway of the earrings also add to the interest of these beautiful earrings, drawing attention over and above the color and gleaming gems.  Simple wires are easy to insert and comfortable to wear. These earrings are fabulous and highly versatile, suitable for day or night wear and guarranteed to draw the eye, enhancing any outfit, complexion or age.
Marks and Metal: No marks. Gold was electronically tested (as 14k)to ensure metal purity.
