    Description

    Up for sale here is this set of 2 vintage Western Electric D161558 silver engraved capacitors, dated 1942 and Made in USA.  I am guessing these are rebadged 229A capacitors but do not know for sure.  These were removed from a piece of WWII-era Western Electric tube gear and have some of that yellowish anti-fungal coating or whatever it is on them.  The terminals have some solder and wire bits on them but should clean up easily.  One of these has some rust and missing paint on one corner,
    and the other one has a large dent in the top.
    Both of these are tested good--they test right around 1.5 uf with minimal leakage/ESR.  They are guaranteed to work great for you.  Please see my pictures for details.
